sxsw makes dreams come true

this festival is especially funny because of the dramatically different venues you see bands play in. We saw this band (the middle east) play in a sterile convention center (pictured above) and then a few hours later on a tiny little outside stage at a dive bar.

We snuck into both shows, using only stealth&charm...but THANK GOSH we did because they are truly amazing.

2500 people at hollywood forever cemetery for bon iver's sunrise show.

doors opened at 12am...most people slept, some people drank coffee from the "gospel swamp" coffee stand, and others watched the projected movies until 5:30 am when the buddhist monks started their blessing chants.
