while my mama and papa were visiting, we decided to take a "bat cruise" to see one of Austin's most famous attractions. The boat took us down lady bird lake at sunset and then to the South Congress bridge to see the thousands of bats, that inhabit the underbelly of the bridge, emerge for the nightly feeding expedition. hundreds of people line the top of the south congress bridge nightly, for the show these bats put on. a couple of our fellow passengers got the pleasure of having some GUANO land on them. AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY EXTRA! YUM.

I am so proud to have such creative and talented friends...to be honest it's quite intimidating.
